WC1900 Willoughby's Low Lead Paints - Series 1900

Willoughby's Series 1900 paints for the Porcelain Painter: a low metal release overglaze colors: individually or the full Set of 26 colors.

These paint colors are quite similar to Willoughby's regular overglaze porcelain paints - they have kept the same color names to make it easier to order.

Their Series 1900 has been especially designed to give extremely low metal release figures. They recommend firing from Cone .015 (1549F) - Cone .018 (1386 F). For dinnerwear items, we do recommend that you do a first fire at Cone .014. This Series 1900 assists the user in conforming to the metallic release limits as set forth by the FDA, US Potter's Assoc. and the World Health Org., but it is well known that the release of metals does not depend only on the colors used, but also on the conditions under which the chinaware is produced. Testing of production pieces would be necessary to determine actual metal release data.
