We specially import the water based, Chipping Off Powder for the Artist who loves special effects on porcelain and china. So EASY to use. You will be amazed at your results.

Instructions: **Mix only with water to a "sloppy" or loose consistency with palette knife **Apply with a palette knife, brush or liner. You can also use a Stylist to apply and push the product into corners. **Work a small area at a time; add more water when it dries out. The texture will be gritty. **You can use Red Resist to mask out an area, but it is not required. The product is very manageable and will sometimes soften the Red Resist (water soluble kind) **Apply a thicker layer for deeper chipping off into the porcelain glaze **Fire cone .014 - .016, 870 - 825C; 1596 - 1517F. **Glaze will be "popped up" when taken from a cool kiln; use eye protection and carefully use palette knife to "chip off" the glaze to the desired texture.

You can apply gold, luster, paint over the chipped off texture, or leave it white for a very subtle, elegant effect.
