Funnel Pens are mostly used for gold work (a separate Funnel Pen can be used also for pen work) - when you have a large quantity to do at once. Fill the brass funnel on the head of the pen with your liquid or thinned gold or pen ink - start using it with a gentle motion. Do not press too hard as you could damage the point.

Always clean the Funnel Pen using gold facilitator, gold essence, lavender oil, etc. (whatever you thin this particular gold with) or with pen work - turpentine: using the wire cleaner each time. Make sure all traces of the gold or pen color is removed or the Funnel Pen may clog.
