GR2 Roman Burnish 38% Gold Paste by REUSCHE - 1/8 OZ

REUSCHE'S 38% ROMAN BURNISH GOLD: 1/8 oz Jar. Reusche's Roman Burnish Gold is a China Painter's dream for easy gold application. It is a thick paste gold: 1/8 oz in paste is a lot of Gold, but it only will cover the bottom 1/4 of the JAR it comes in. We tell you this so you don't think that you didn't get the right amount.

REUSCHE'S 38% ROMAN BURNISH GOLD Paste must be thinned with Gold Facilitator and we strongly recommend that you only use Reusche's OR3 ELARCO Gold Facilitator so the thinner and the gold will work well together. Using a clean plastic palette knife, take a small amount out of the jar and place on your Gold Pat, or alcohol cleaned tile, etc. Place one drop at a time of the ELARCO Gold Facilitator on the edge of the Gold and work it thoroughly into the Gold mixture. Do NOT add too much Facilitator, as you will then get the "purple cast" to your gold when fired. It should be a very dark chocolate brown. Do only a small amount at a time.

Fire to Cone .016 - .018; while still warm is the best time to burnish your gold. Use the Fiberglass Burnisher, Burnish Pen and Burnish Sand in a circular motion to not scratch the gold. Burnish to the very rich, satiny color.
