GR1 Roman Burnish 38% Gold Paste, Pat by REUSCHE

REUSCHE'S 38% ROMAN GOLD PASTE in the Square Pat - glass square covered with their 38% Roman Gold Paste - Burnish Gold.

This is a great way to introduce yourself to Roman Burnish Gold. It is a small coating of Gold Paste on a glass square. We highly recommend that you ONLY USE the REUSCHE Gold Facilitator: OR3 ELARCO. Use a separate gold brush; drop one drop of Facilitator on the edge of the gold paste, at a time - you don't need much - and stir with your gold brush until it is a creamy, chocolate brown mixture. Do NOT thin too much or you will have the "purple cast" to the gold when fired. Use a Brush ONLY for this Gold.

Fire to Cone .016 - .018; while still warm it is easier to burnish or polish the gold to it's rich, satiny shine. You can use the Fiberglass Burnisher, Burnish Pen, or Burnish Sand. Polish in a circular motion and you will not tend to scratch it - always polish with a light touch. If you do have a "purple residue" use the SF17 Gold Eraser to remove this.

Fluxed Gold goes over white porcelain. Unfluxed Gold can be applied over paint, etc., as the paint already has Flux in it. Please choose which one you prefer. If you do not choose one, we will send the Fluxed Gold.
