GLJ4 Raised Paste for Glass Kit by Josephine

Josephine Glass Raised Paste Kit: contains one 2 dram vial of the Glass Raised Paste Powder and the 1 OZ of the Glass Raised Paste Medium.

Instructions: Mix the powder with the Raised Paste Medium until it strings off your palette knife. For delicate scrolls and dots, use one of our Crow Quill Pen Nibs. Keep the mixture in a tight ball as much as possible. Dip your Pen Nib into the mixture and lift up. You will have a nice ball of Raised Paste on the tip. Set the tip of the Pen Nib on the Glass and slowly pull in the scroll design and gently lift up for the delicate, thin end of the scroll. For dots, dip your Pen Nib into the mixture and lift up. Set the Pen Nib on the Glass vertically and lift up. You can achieve a decreasing dot series in size if you don't reload - just keep setting your Pen Nib down and lifting. It's great!

Fire this to Cone .022; make sure it is a true Cone .022 Fire or the Raised Paste will not harden and the gold will sink into the mixture.

Apply the GHGLS Liquid Bright Gold for Glass and refire to Cone .022. It will be a very elegant effect on any glass.
