GHSM1 Silky Matt Gold, German - Self Burnishing Gold - One Coat Coverage

SILKY MATT GOLD: 2 gram bottle "the NEWEST gold from Germany" and it's wonderful! One coat will give you a complete, smooth coverage with no brush strokes. Follow the instructions below.

ALSO: This is a true, liquid BURNISH gold which "burnishes itself in the firing" You don't have to burnish this gold. It comes perfectly burnished fresh out of the kiln!! Terrific for small and large areas of gold coverage.

The GERMAN golds are the "true Roman gold" and MUST be stirred each time with a glass rod to evenly distribute the thinner in the gold. Shaking is NOT enough. Use a separate brush for all golds. We recommend the JGOS JOSEPHINE Gold Brush Set of 5 with their own air-tight casing. Leave the gold in the brush and insert into the casing to keep it dust free and moist (some climates may have to add a drop of pure lavender oil in the casing to keep the brush moist).

Dip the brush into the bottle just enough to get gold on the tip of the brush. Dab off excess into container. Apply the gold in long, even strokes; overlapping so you don't miss any areas and let the gold flow together. Do NOT go back over the gold. Let dry before firing.

Fire to Cone .016 - .018;825 - 752C, 1517 - 1386F. Fire slowly and with proper ventilation until the kiln reaches the highest temperature. Cool down slowly.
