Fireable Pastel Chalks for porcelain painting. We carry these for all Artists who want a firable, pastel chalk artistic effect.

Mariela Villasmil-Kaminski's classes and seminars also use these chalk sets. These are the chalks only and the Primer Coat and Grounding Oil can be ordered: Porcelain Colors: JMatt White Matt $3.95; and the Grounding Oil: Oil and Medium: OJ4 Pollyanna Grounding Oil 1 oz $8.95 ea.

Mariela uses the pastel chalks with a Primer Coat of JMatt White Matt china paint, fired on the porcelain first, which has been mixed with the OJ4 Pollyanna Grounding Oil to give a heavy tooth coat on the porcelain to accept the chalks.

The chalks are Lead Free and can be used dry as pastels, or with water for a more watercolor style.

Instructions included. Each Set contains 8 different colors. CR208 contains the more basic colors with white and black. CR209 contains more greens, blues, purples. The Primer or Matt White and the Pollyanna Grounding Oil are not included.
